Other Compounds
In addition to lorvotuzumab mertansine (IMGN901), IMGN529, and IMGN853, we have other, earlier-stage compounds.
Beyond trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) and SAR3419, there are a number of other compounds at clinical-stage through our partnerships:
- BT-062 - This TAP compound, in development by Biotest for the treatment of multiple myeloma. ImmunoGen has opt-in rights for the US. Encouraging findings have been seen in Phase I testing
- SAR650984 - This therapeutic, or "naked", antibody began clinical testing in mid-2010 through our collaboration with Sanofi. SAR650984 is a promising treatment for a number of hematological malignancies. In preclinical testing, it achieved notable activity through multiple mechanisms of action.
- SAR566658 - This TAP compound also advanced into Phase I clinical testing in the summer of 2010 through our collaboration with Sanofi. It is in development for the treatment of CA6-expressing cancers, which include many breast, ovarian, cervical, lung and pancreatic tumors. It has shown encouraging findings in preclinical testing.
- BAY 94-9343 - This TAP compound, in development by Bayer HealthCare, advanced into Phase I clinical testing in September 2011. The compound targets mesothelin and demonstrated potent, targeted anticancer activity against mesothelin-expressing tumors in preclinical testing.
- Amgen 1 and Amgen 2 - Amgen advanced two TAP compounds to active IND stage in November 2011. At this time, no other information is disclosed about these compounds.
Additionally, our collaborators Amgen, Genentech (a member of the Roche Group), Lilly, Novartis, and Sanofi have certain other rights to develop compounds.
